Rescue ð– ° Rehabilitate ð– ° Release

Conserving Wildlife & Promoting a Future of Environmental Stewardship

Educate ð– ° Inspire ð– ° Protect

Christine’s Critters is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation of birds of prey through education and community engagement. Our mission is to provide expert care to injured wildlife while addressing the human-caused threats that impact raptor populations. Whenever possible, we rehabilitate and release birds back into their natural habitats, while those that cannot survive in the wild become powerful symbols of conservation, helping to educate and inspire people of all ages.

Through engaging educational programs and outreach, we strive to foster a deeper understanding of wildlife and empower future generations to become better stewards of the natural world. By raising awareness of the challenges wildlife face—including habitat loss, secondary poisoning, and vehicle collisions—we work to reduce these threats and promote coexistence between wildlife and people.

Christine’s Critters is home to 23 non-releasable birds of prey, including hawks, owls, falcons, eagles, and osprey. These raptors, each with a unique rescue story, serve as ambassadors for conservation, helping to educate the public about the impact of human activities on wildlife and the critical role these species play in maintaining healthy ecosystems. In addition to raptors, Christine’s Critters has also been a longtime home to over 20 rescued reptiles and amphibians. Many of these animals were surrendered from homes that could no longer care for them, some of which Christine rescued as a teenager over a decade ago. These animals provide an opportunity for people to engage in hands-on learning, gaining a deeper appreciation for the natural world and the importance of responsible pet ownership.

Our goal is not just to rehabilitate wildlife, but to inspire the next generation of wildlife veterinarians, conservationists, biologists, and scientists who will continue the fight to protect these species and their habitats for generations to come.
