So Glad You Made It Here

At Christine’s Critters, every bird and reptile has a story—a story of survival, resilience, and second chances.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured birds of prey while providing lifelong care for those that can no longer return to the wild.

During our program, you’ll meet some of these incredible animals up close—hawks, owls, falcons, and even a few reptiles—each with a unique journey that brought them to us.

We’ll share their stories, the challenges they’ve faced, and how small actions can make a big difference for wildlife.

More than just an educational experience, our programs are a chance to connect—with nature, with these amazing creatures, and with the idea that we all have the power to protect the world around us.

We can’t wait to share this special journey with you!

Supporting Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation

At Christine’s Critters, every program we offer directly supports the rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of injured birds of prey and reptiles. As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to give these animals a second chance—whether by healing and releasing them back into the wild or providing a permanent, safe home for those who cannot survive on their own.

Caring for These Birds Is a Major Commitment

Each year, we rescue over 100 injured raptors, many of whom require specialized medical care, rehabilitation, and flight conditioning before they are ready for release.

For those who remain in our care as wildlife ambassadors, we provide daily feeding, enrichment, and expert veterinary oversight to ensure they thrive in captivity and continue to inspire conservation through education. The cost of whole-prey diets, medical expenses, and aviary maintenance adds up quickly—feeding a single Bald Eagle alone costs upwards of $3,500 per year, and building and maintaining safe enclosures can cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Your Support Makes It Possible

Christine’s Critters receives no state or federal funding—we rely 100% on program fees and donations to cover the enormous cost of feeding, housing, and providing medical care for these birds.

By booking a program with us, you are directly contributing to wildlife conservation, ensuring that rescued birds receive the care they need while helping to prevent future injuries through education. Thank you for making a difference!
